About

I’m David. I design and build systems for people who need things to hold together.

Background

I’ve spent over a decade working with complex systems in professional environments — large organisations, real constraints, and platforms that people rely on every day.

Over time, I learned that the hardest problems aren’t usually technical. They’re about clarity, ownership, and knowing which parts of a system actually matter.

How I think about systems

I’m drawn to work where things feel messy at first — where the right next step isn’t obvious. My job is to slow that moment down, bring structure, and help people move forward without adding unnecessary weight.

Good systems should feel boring when they’re working. They should support people quietly, rather than demanding constant attention just to stay upright.

Why Nyth

Nyth means nesting. A nest isn’t flashy. It’s thoughtful, strong, and built to support life.

That idea sits behind how I work. Whether it’s a business platform, a home system, or a physical object, the goal is the same: something that holds together, carries weight, and feels safe to rely on.
